Ideal candidates should be eager to help build the SDR organization and use past experience to help us develop processes and build the sales pipeline. Detailed Job Description: 

At Studylog, the Sales Development Representative is the tip of the spear in the Sales process. SDRs work together with the sales org in a close team, to:

  • Generate net-new business opportunities to build our sales pipeline
  • Prospect directly into bio-pharma companies nationwide via cold-calls, email, LinkedIn campaigns and other methods
  • Work closely with VP of Sales to develop successful prospecting strategies
  • Maintain flawless data management and hygiene within Zoho.com
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications
  • Create new processes and refine existing processes through innovative thinking
  • Generate reports on sales metrics
  • Assist the sales team with quote and agreement generation
  • Assist with trade shows and exhibits (some travel)
  • Do sales qualifying calls

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • At least 1-2 years of post-collegiate corporate software sales experience
  • Experience being held to metrics
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • High energy and a positive attitude
  • Ability to take initiative
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University (a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences or Business-related area is preferred, but not required)
  • Location: SF Bay Area
