Study Reproducibility Workshop Launch!

Study Reproducibility Workshop Launch!

We at Studylog are excited to announce that last week we officially launched our workshop series at The 4th Annual PREDiCT: Tumor Models San Francisco Summit 2020! Kimberly Aardalen, Scientific Technical Leader at Novartis Institutes for Biomedical Research, presented a workshop entitled “Problems of Animal Study Reproducibility and Their Solutions.” This workshop explored different ways to improve animal study reproducibility. Researchers walked away from the workshop with an understanding of the factors which contribute to poor animal study reproducibility and learned about the application of the latest online tools to mitigate reproducibility problems.

Attendees also got to see exactly how animal study workflow software, such as Studylog Desktop, can help solve many of the problems of study reproducibility while easily standardizing the processes of detailed study planning and study conduct. This makes adherence to and oversight of procedures easier, which facilitates faster, more detailed data collection and better data documentation. Additionally, it allows for standardization of animal welfare parameter monitoring, data analysis, report creation, task assignment, scheduling, data preservation, and access.
